Whenever I hear an ad for a medication on TV, I like to wait for the end of the ad where they very quickly tell about the potential side effects. It’s amazing how many medications say that death is one of the side effects of the medication. This tells me that during the clinical trials that led to the approval of this medication, at least one or more persons died. But the FDA approved the medication anyway!

One of the side effects of abortion is death. If the mother does not die from an abortion, the unborn child almost always does.

When discussing the higher rates of psychiatric illnesses, self-harm, infertility, and cancer that are found among those who have had abortions, people who favor abortion are quick to point out that the abortion itself may not have triggered the harmful side effects. There may be other factors that could have contributed to these problems.

Those who favor abortion make every effort to downplay any harmful side effects of abortion. Back in 2011 England’s Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists went so far as to advise doctors to tell their patients that abortion is safer than having a baby.
