Should a woman be allowed to abort her child based on the child’s gender? If a woman was hoping for a girl and finds out she is having a boy should she be allowed to abort her child and start over? This is allowable if abortion is legal for any and all reasons. A child can lose its life just because it was not the gender that the woman was wanting.

Most people who are preparing to welcome a new child into the family will say that they don’t care if its a boy or a girl, they just want the child to be healthy. But even if they won’t admit it, most people do have a preference for one gender over another.
