Lichtenstein’s “Bacon Chair”

Roy Lichtenstein’s only foray into functional design was this “Brushstroke Chair and Ottoman” which my grand children promptly named, “The Bacon Chair” for obvious reasons. I think I like their name better.

It is made of laminated and lacquered white birch plywood and is currently on display at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri.
