Napoleon’s Tapestries

Every good European monarch had to have a collection of tapestries. Here is a look at some of the tapestries that are part of the Napoleon, Power and Splendor exhibit at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri.

These exquisite works of art adorned Napoleon’s palace. They are so intricate and beautiful it is hard to believe they are made from thread.
